Reverend Sonya Redd,

Reverend Sonya Redd is the Associate Pastor of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. She has served as a minister at Galilee for almost thirteen years, first under the leadership of Pastor Emeritus John Hardison and has continued to serve in this capacity under the leadership of Pastor Zantesah Ingalls. She is the Director of the Christian Education Department, New Ministers Training, “Trees of Righteousness Evangelism Ministries” and the Administration office. Previously she served as Overseer of the Women’s Ministry and Director of Youth Ministry.   Rev. Redd is a founding member of the “Five Women of Grace Ministries,” the founder of Harvest Ministries (a Christian Teaching Ministry) and former member of the N.J. Spiritual Life Clergy Women.  
 
Rev. Redd was a member of First Bapt. Church of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset for 14 years.  There she served on the Vision 2000 Educational Team, the Board of Christian Education, Chaired the Curriculum Committee and taught adult classes.  She served as a member of DLB Ministries from 1984 – 1990 and the Eastern Regional Coordinator from 1986 to 1990.  This was a nation-wide Evangelism Outreach Ministry designed to minister to the whole man.  In 1990, she accepted the call into the preaching ministry and began preaching in 1991.   
 
In 1988, while serving as the NJ State NAACP Vice President, she started the NJ State NAACP ACT-SO (Afro-Academic Cultural Technological Scientific Olympics) Program and served as its Chair until 1995. She has continued to serve as a National Core Volunteer Staff Member of this program.     
 
Rev. Redd attended New Brunswick Theological Seminary in pursuit of a Masters of Divinity.  It is her prayer to return to complete that degree.  Her educational background includes Bloomfield College for Women, Glassboro State College and the NAACP Leadership University. 
 
God has blessed her to be the mother of three children, Brian, Karen and a wonderful, Godly and awesome daughter-in-law Michelle.  In addition, her life has been enriched with five wonderful grandchildren. “God has called me to be a lifter of bow down heads, a fisher of men and an equipper of the saints.  Let my will be lost in thine Oh Lord”. Rev. Redd says, “I have fallen in love with the one who purchased my life with His blood.” He is my joy, my peace, my hope the lover of my soul and my reason for being.  I just want to be a sweet smelling savor in his nostrils. I no longer belong to myself”.
 
 
Minister Liane Stone-Ingalls
Director, Women's Ministry
 
 
Minister Liane Stone-Ingalls has heard the voice of the Lord leading and guiding her since she was a young girl. She has always been sensitive to the Holy Spirit and spent several years of her youth actively involved in the church. However, it wasn’t until she the age of 20 that she truly yielded and gave her life to the Lord completely. From that day on, she sought after the Lord with an intense and unending fervor! She received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit not long after.
 
Minister Liane is state-certified as a Highly Qualified teacher. Minister Liane holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Writing from Kean University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall University. Minister Liane has facilitated numerous professional development and leadership workshops, along with classroom management workshops within the field of education. In addition, she has facilitated workshops on prayer, praise and worship and the empowerment of women through the love of Jesus Christ and has served the Lord and the church in various capacities.
 
Minister Liane received her Minister’s license on April 6, 2008. She serves as Pastor over the Women's Ministry.  
 
Minister Liane is deeply involved in creating empowerment projects for the women in the Body of Christ, African American women(especially) and the people in the surrounding community. She believes that through every trial and tribulation, we have the unique opportunity to increase our intimacy with God and come to know Him and His heart on a deeper level. She encourages every believer, especially women, to seek their purpose and validation through Jesus Christ because in Him we find EVERYTHING that we need.
 
 
 
 
Minister Katrina Ingalls-Wade
Youth Pastor
Assistant Director of Christian Education
 
Katrina Ingalls-Wade was born in Newark, New Jersey and attended elementary and high school there.  She grew up in church and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour at the age of 13.  Katrina always loved singing, dancing, and later developed a hunger for listening to sound teaching of the Word of God.  She went on to Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah, completed her degree, and married one of the blessings sent to her from God in the form of Eugene Wade.  They have three beautiful children together: Dante’, Tiara, and Elijah, all for whom they give God the glory!
 
Since its beginning in 1980, Katrina has been a very active member at the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 24 Lyons Avenue, Newark, NJ.  She serves under Pastor Zantesah Ingalls and the ministerial staff in the Youth Ministry, Christian Education Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and was just officially licensed Sunday, April 6, 2008.  Katrina has been teaching and preaching the principles of God’s Word since 1998.  She also has been teaching at the United Academy elementary school for 10 years.
 
She believes in the power of the spoken Word, the truth of the written Word, and the life changing force of the Holy Spirit to bring every Word of God to fruition in her life.  Katrina realizes that God has more in store for her than she can imagine.  By this she is humbled and yet forcefully empowered and compelled to guard her mouth, her eyes, and her heart! Realizing that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, Katrina is watchful to consistently put the Word of God in her heart.  By doing so, it will abundantly flow from her mouth bringing prosperity to every area of her life and the lives of those with whom she comes in contact.
 
To God Be All the Glory-For His Best is Continuously Being Manifested in the Life of His Daughter, Katrina Wade!
 
 
Minister Juanita Taylor
Pastor of Children's Ministry
 
Minister Juanita is a child of the Most High God.  She was born and raised in Wilmington, De. and is the oldest of five children born to her mother.  Min. Taylor received her bachelor’s degree in the field of Psychology in 1997 from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pa.  and obtained her Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from Kean University in Union, NJ in August 2001.  After completing her undergraduate studies, she relocated to Newark, NJ and married her God-sent soul mate, Terrence Taylor.  Minister Taylor accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior and became a part of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in August 1999.  Since that time she has served the Galilee family faithfully and continues to work diligently, pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  She serves as a leader in the Children’s Ministry, the choir, the Praise & Worship team, and is a devoted teacher in the Christian Education Department for both new believers and new members of the Galilee family.  Minister Taylor has a heart for worship and desires to be used by God to the fullest of her potential to glorify her heavenly father and to build His kingdom.
